NurseDegrees.com helps people understand nursing careers, education pathways, and nursing schools across the United States clearly, honestly, and without rankings.
What we do
We built NurseDegrees.com around a simple idea: choosing a nursing career and finding the right school shouldn’t require wading through confusing jargon or marketing spin. So we focus on three things:
- Career guidance. Plain-language explanations of nursing roles, from entry-level positions through advanced practice and leadership, including the education and licensing path each one typically requires.
- Education pathways. Clear breakdowns of degree types, from CNA through DNP and PhD so you can see how each one connects to the career you’re aiming for.
- School discovery. A searchable directory of nursing schools and programs across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
What we don’t do
- We don’t publish rankings, “best schools” lists, or numerical scores. Program quality depends on factors specific to each person’s goals, location, and circumstances, not a single ranking.
- We don’t guarantee admission, licensure, employment, salary, or program outcomes for anyone.
- We don’t accept payment in exchange for altering the factual information shown about a school. Sponsored or featured placements (where they exist) are always clearly labeled, and never change the underlying data or how schools compare to each other.
Where our information comes from
Our school directory is built from a combination of public research and ongoing review. Information we haven’t independently confirmed with a school is labeled as “Reported” rather than presented as verified fact. See our Data Verification Policy for details on how this works.
A note on accuracy
Nursing education, licensure, certification, clinical requirements, and scope of practice all vary by state, institution, and time. Always confirm current requirements directly with the school and the relevant state board of nursing before making decisions.
